The training guide has been prepared as a resource for departments that may be designing new TA training programs, or re-evaluating and updating existing programs. It has been designed to be flexible and modular, so that departments may select elements that best fit their needs. The content of the guide is based on current research on TA training methods, as well as conversations with both faculty and graduate students, and incorporates a variety of materials currently in use by departments at UCSC.

The units have been asked to provide new information on their web sites with some common standards. Once your unit has developed language for the "new hours" access graphics and CSS templates, with suggested guidelines.
